John Adams, Sandy, Hammy, and someone from the late Rocco Scotti's family. Maybe substitute Rocky Colavito for Sandy or Hammy - or a Colavito family member if The Rock is too feeble these days. We're up against 108 years if it's the Cubs. We need all the good mojo we can get!

I'd much rather see a certain old St Ignatius catcher out there.

It was awesome to see him collect his hardware on TV the other night. He deserves it. I haven't agreed with all his moves - not by a long shot - but he has stayed the course and kept the faith. He's earned one more piece.
 
It would not be the glamorous national choice ( so it won't happen), but no one has earned the honor more than John Adams.
