Kareem was all about skill and thats why he had longevity inthe league.. and maybe he wouldn't have lasted as long in the league because of longer playoff series, but he defintely would have been productive... Yes Howard can jump out of the sky but he has never been more consitant then Kareem..Plus Jabbar did play against some very big centers..Wilt, Gilmore, Parrish, Lanier, Chocolate Thunder and he did very well..
 
Skills are skills, alot of players are lacking skills and fundamentals today. I think that they may be better athletes in the NBA today simply because there's better training but the all-time greats are better basketball players. With that said they'll still be great.

If you ever played ball w young guys as I do you can see that they're quicker, more athletic but I always score and defend as good or better than they do because I have the better skills and fundamentals. As a
