Good point. Some of these guys are in their 80's and can probably barely walk, let alone run, jump and shoot. Some are even dead, like Mikan, so doubtful if he'd be an impact player today.
Kareem was all about skill and thats why he had longevity inthe league.. and maybe he wouldn't have lasted as long in the league because of longer playoff series, but he defintely would have been productive... Yes Howard can jump out of the sky but he has never been more consitant then Kareem..Plus Jabbar did play against some very big centers..Wilt, Gilmore, Parrish, Lanier, Chocolate Thunder and he did very well..
Skills are skills, alot of players are lacking skills and fundamentals today. I think that they may be better athletes in the NBA today simply because there's better training but the all-time greats are better basketball players. With that said they'll still be great.
