None. You have to read between the lines and then read between those lines.

Trump gave a partisan political speech. And if you apply the standard that is applied to Trump's speech as inciting violence then every political speech against Trump by the democrats has incited violence.

Political speech by necessity is going to be rough. It's going to be passionate and it's going to forcefully argue one side of the debate. Attempts to paint Trump's speech as inciting violence will smother all political debate. And the US constitution does not allow that. Period.
 
Well that’s easy. He told them the election was stolen and to go to the capitol to stop the certification and save the country so that’s what they did. The simple fact that everything he said, and led them to believe, was a lie, and unconstitutional, are only 2 more layers of icing on the impeachment cake.

he spread the false claims that the election was stolen and refused to admit that Joe Biden was President elect
he gathered some of most rabid and fanatical believers in these false claim in Washington D. C.
he fired them up and pointed them at the Capitol with resulting attack on that building the legislative center of our government
 
I don’t think you understand what incite means. If you falsely yell fire in a crowded theatre you don’t get to say you never meant for anyone to get trampled. Not how it works.
 
I don't know about y'all, but I feel he set this whole thing in motion and the riot was the end result.

Did he say to break into the Capitol?
No.
But he set this all in motion.

So he didn't? Got it...So if someone says on twitter to #killtrump and someone does it, are they at fault?

Actually , I heard two representatives from the west central part of the state say pretty much exactly what the majority is stating here.

Seems kinda planned as it started 22 minutes before Trump ended his speech. Not to mention all the tools the had on them for the assault on the capital building. Doubt they were handing them out at the rally.
 
What did President Trump say last week to incite the crowd? Nothing. His rhetoric of 'it was stolen' 'rigged election' 'stop the count/ keep counting' ( depending on which state) Inflammatory twitter remarks. All since the election. Trump could've read a Dr Seuss book last week. Wouldn't have matter. Those people had already planned and plotted after getting whipped into a frenzy from Trumps accusations the past 2 months. Not all, or even most that were in DC for Trump. Just that 10% that had pure evil in their heart.

Yeah. Planned is way worse than spontaneously incited. Even heard there were tours the day before. This could get ugly.

*'Peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard'

*Defenders of Trump will continue to point out how he said 'peacefully' and he never incited the crowd.
Donny said we have to fight and show strength, but he also said we're very peacefully and patriotically going to ask, so he's covering himself...
