Home and home with St X and St Ig.A home and home between Massillon and Elder!
Actually a four team playoff with a consolation game of St I, St Ed, St X and Moeller would sell a lot of tickets.Home and home with St X and St Ig.

The Tigers had series with Elder, in 1951-52 and 1955-56. Yes, the Tigers played Elder in a Cincy classic in 2005. Massillon is 5-0 versus the Panthers.I like all of the ones you listed however I Don't think we had a series before with X or Elder. @topperbounce would know the answerHave Kirtland and Chardon ever played?
Figured if they had a series it was before my time lol. Nice to have that record over such a good program. The Tigers had series with Elder, in 1951-52 and 1955-56. Yes, the Tigers played Elder in a Cincy classic in 2005. Massillon is 5-0 versus the Panthers.

I never heard of Vanlue. Is that a real school or is someone just kidding around?Vanlue vs Massillon

Gotcha, I thought as much. I am 68 years old. I was wondering did I miss something?According to ohhsfbdb.net, since 1972 their Best win-loss percentage was in 1985 when they went 4-5. They are a D7 school.
Their last 3 win season was 1994. They've had 3 2-win seasons since 2005.
Since 2011, their record is 10-125.
VanlueVsTheWorld is a troll who has emerged this offseason, claiming they'd run roughshod over Lucas, St Ed, Moe, Mass, Hoban, etc.
My scoring prediction of 76-0 is more a comment that high school kickers hit about 10 of 11 xp's than anything else. Massillon, on a good day, could put up a century in the first half, if they were so inclined.
So just referencing a running joke from a troll, Pastomi, not a real prediction. Hence the wink at the end of my comments about them.![]()

Hilltoppers were members of the ESC in the early 80s. The last time Kirtland & Chardon faced off in football was then (1982, I believe).Last played in 1969. Both belonged to the original Western Reserve League.
Isn't it a bit odd that two nearby schools who each have multiple state titles over the last decade haven't played one another? Is there any particular reason why besides the size difference?Hilltoppers were members of the ESC in the early 80s. The last time Kirtland & Chardon faced off in football was then (1982, I believe).
With Chardon now joining Kirtland in the CVC (in different divisions), I am guessing it’s a matter of when & not if the two schools square off on the gridiron in the future. I would love to see it!Isn't it a bit odd that two nearby schools who each have multiple state titles over the last decade haven't played one another? I figure it would be an easy sell-out crowd, and with qualifying for the playoffs being a foregone conclusion thanks to the extra round, there's no good reason not to get it on the schedule even for just a single year. Chardon, I know is traveling more than an hour to face Jackson this fall, surely playing the Hornets would be preferable for them.
It just jumped out at me as a situation where there's two very similar schools fairly close to each other who've played a lot of common nonconference opponents recently, just never each other. There are a few others in that category like Hudson vs Aurora and Mentor vs Avon. With Chardon now joining Kirtland in the CVC (in different divisions), I am guessing it’s a matter of when & not if the two schools square off on the gridiron in the future. I would love to see it!
Chardon and Perry are on a crash course to play each other as well! The CVC will have some fun potential match ups! With Chardon now joining Kirtland in the CVC (in different divisions), I am guessing it’s a matter of when & not if the two schools square off on the gridiron in the future. No worries. You always have reasonable takes and insights on things. I try to mostly go that route, but if you ever see a wink on one of my posts, know that most, if not all, bets are off on that .Gotcha, I thought as much. I am 68 years old. I was wondering did I miss something?
The only concern with Chardon is the coaching change. Can they keep up the standards of Hewitt?Chardon and Perry are on a crash course to play each other as well! The CVC will have some fun potential match ups!
