Game of the week: I'll give it to Bath/Shawnee, two teams that have struggled lately but are off to good starts and never get much recognition. I think Van Wert/Celina could be really competitive too. Even Elida/Kenton. But the other two could be blowouts.
Last week was tough. 20 people made picks, five people from week 1 didn't, already, so only 19 people have participated in both weeks, and there was one new addition. But out of 20 people, 11, more than half, had losing records, including three people who only had Wapak correct. Only two people managed a 4-1 record - footballfan89, a new entrant, and PantherSkin, who has managed to jump out to a big two-game lead already by week 2. Wapak was the only unanimous pick, while Kenton missed by 1 - and lost. Van Wert, another loser, missed by 2 picks, and St. Marys missed by 5. The closest match up was Elida a slight favorite over Shawnee, 11-9. But Elida lost too, meaning the consensus this week went just 2-3.
