Not a big night on the ground for WJ but Gabe had 15 carries for 130 yards (8.6) & 1 TD.
Coach B just needs to keep the ball on the ground and let both backs grind it out for the riders.
 
Frybarger had 3 TD tonight and Tyler B had another good night throwing the ball going
11 of 14 (78.6) for 189 yards and 2 TD’s.

Gabe did have a 15 yard TD reception and a 55 yard pick 6.

The WJ JV did play half the 3rd and all the 4th qtr against the MP starters on a running clock.
WJ took a knee to end the game at the 1 yard line in an act of class and also went over and rang the MP victory bell along with the MP team!
 
West Jeff showing a lot of class and sportsmanship during this game. WJ did not attempt to run up the score, from having JV playing in the 3rd and 4th quarters, to taking a knee on the 1 yard line. Tyler B was extremely accurate throwing the ball along being very elusive rolling out of the pocket. Gabe Jones scoring 3 different ways, showing this kid is a real threat no matter where he is on the field. Back up Gavin Frybarger ran hard scoring 3 times, two in the red zone and one 46 yard run. Hard for an opponent to watch film preparing for the Jones attack when the backup can be very effective as well keeping Jones well rested. Both lines 0-line and D-line were equally impressive creating holes and protecting Tyler B allowing plenty of time to survey the field. Next week will be a battle, a game you don't want to miss.
