Congratulations to the defending SWO KOS Champion CGradADad. He won last seasons playoff championship final round over runner-up BucksFan937. Congrats also to Troy Trojan05 & BucksFan937, who both tied as last seasons Playoff Total Points Champion.
After taking over this great pickem' contest from vamp2syd and running it for the past five seasons, I'm really looking forward to running it again this season! Everyone is welcome to play, as there were a total of 70 participants last season.
Here is the history of the KOS head to head football tournament:

Congratulations is also in order to CGradADad, for being last seasons Regular Season Total Points Champion. The top 16 finishers in the standings on the completion of the regular season, will qualify for the head to head tournament come playoff time, to determine the 2020 SWO KOS Champion! Usually, the regular season is 10 games. But due to the Covied19 pandemic, it looks like this regular season could be shortened. In that case, there could be more playoff games. Anyone who participates during the regular season, can still participate during playoff time, to determine the Playoff Total Points Champion.
There is also a team KOS championship. The top 15 people from each week, will score points for their team. If you are new to this contest, I will need to know your team affiliation, if you want to score points for your team. This is usually your favorite high school, or the high school where you went. So if you're new to this contest, you can put your team affiliation at the bottom (below the tie-breaker) or you can PM me your school. Your favorite school can be outside of SWO. For those who participated last season, I already know your team affiliation from last seasons standings. Congrats to Wayne on being last seasons SWO KOS Team Champion! The Warriors won over runner-up Elder in the championship round, 28-20.
BucksFan937 won the week 10 contest last season, so he will win all tie breakers in this week one contest.
I have below 25 games. There's also a tie-breaker game at the bottom. The team in all capital letters designates the home team. Make sure to pick all games, and remember, this is not a straight up pickem'. You are picking according to the point spreads. Please put an "X" on the line of the team you pick to beat the spread. If you aren't sure how this is done, then watch and see how the others are doing their picks. Once you've made your picks, you are allowed to edit your picks if you want. Just make sure your edit time doesn't go past the deadline time. Whatever your edit time says will also be considered your final posting time (in case it's needed for a second tie-breaker).
DEADLINE to get your picks in is FRIDAY, AUGUST 28 at 7:00 PM ... Best of luck to everyone!!
