Mercy 4-1 over SUA. What is happening at SUA, dead last in the GGCL with 0 wins in league play. Too much talent in that squad to perform like this.

Starts at the top. No clue about who to play where. A once proud program being torched to please the alumnae.

I can’t imagine any alumnae are pleased with the implosion going on. Maybe the AD needs to realize he has a coach who would rather play his club kids and line his pockets over winning.

Agree with you 100% Fearthekeeper. Except You have to believe the head coach has the support of the AD. Unfortunately the club girls he is playing are not very competitive. He better line his pockets well since his time at SUA is growing short.

Agreed. There’s a pretty decent supporting cast around her though that make the difference. Teams that overplay her get beat by the other players and good speed all around make matchups for other teams difficult. A lot of the teams goals are combinations coming from other players so overall the team has good balance of playmakers.

WHO is the best high school team in the area ?
They have all played some games now.

Looks like Loveland is not the Loveland of last year and it looks like MND is super strong or that league is super weak this year?

Still think it's Loveland, but not by the margin people may have thought. Can make an equally strong case for Fairfield or MND based on resume, though I have seen neither play. Right now, I would say Loveland, Fairfield, MND, Mason, Anderson, Sycamore, in that order. Pretty close between the 6 though.

Both the GMC and GGCL are not as stronger as previous years. GGCL home games have had a lot of questionable calls this season?

Same thing that’s going on at all the private schools, pushback from lower tier players and coaches against Pre DA and ECNL players at private schools. HS game evolving into girlfriend teams. DA sucking up some younger players who would develop into important supporting cast now gone. A few Div 1 girls not fitting into cliques and it’s showing.

Buck, I disagree I have attended quite a few high school soccer games this fall and I have enjoyed them. I think the girls soccer is exploding all over and other teams in the area are growing and getting better that has lead to more competitive games. The DA is what it is, if it is truly developing better players than so be it, but I also hear of girls leaving after the are getting their scholarships as well. All in all its a fun time of the year to go and watch games!

**Also thanks for picking against the Big Blue, hope they play Anderson well also**
