Week 12: Martins Ferry at Poland (D5, R17)

Quick glance at schedules and poland should whip ferry...which they will..ohio valley football is on life support.
 
The reasons there is no discussion is that Ferry would either finish 6th or 7th in the NE8. I realize Niles was awful, so I dunno who wins that. But that's the only NE8 team I have a question on re Ferry.

Didn’t realize how bad it was until last week when Wheelersburg went in and whipped up on Barnesville for the third year in a row

this is from a ferry fan this years team at 10-1 was a complete surprise to us they are a young team with only 3 seniors that are key players. numbers 5 15 and 17. #15 is a D1 recruit at tight end and defensive back. he is 6'6 . 220 lbs. the rest of the players are all underclassmen, with #20 being a freshmen running back. this is also a very fast team as any one of our skill players can score from anywhere. having said that though, poland probably sees teams like ferry every week.

one thing about ferry they will come to play with nothing to lose. they are expected to lose .they may keep it close for awhile.
