I agree that Walnut had been dominant not on varsity but at the jv level, but lets not forget that the turpin team this year is basically revamped. Too many players to list are gone from the roster and everyone needs to gain experience. Martin being only a freshman last year gained experience, but had the senior class/entire varsity team backing him up, this year he has no one with a wealth of varsity experience. I would expect that he is a little rocky this year, but as the year wears on he will begin to dominate and look for him to be the top FAVC pitcher for the next few years.
