I'll go out on a limb and say Norwayne takes the top spot this fall with the sole reason being that it will not be Dalton.

I think Hillsdale and Dalton are a coin flip for 2nd/3rd place in the league this year, totally depends on how good of a coach Leek is...
 
The top 4 are pretty clear cut - Norwayne is would be the favorite, but they lose some key guys as well. I would go Norwayne, Dalton, Hillsdale, Rittman, in that order. However, I don’t think it is out of the question that Dalton wins it again, dawgs could also finish 3rd. The floor for Norwayne is probably 2nd.

Northwestern will be worse this year than last. Hope to see Chippewa climb to close to .500 this year. Waynedale will be Waynedale. Smithville has a nice group of incoming freshman, just don't know how much that helps this year...they're probably something similar to last years team...Sonego returns for Rittman, he will carry them to a similar season as last year....

Norwayne the league favorites for sure. Hillsdale will be in the mix, but ultimately the league comes down to whether or not Dalton can beat Norwayne. If Dalton can beat Norwayne, I could easily see another 3 way tie. I do NOT see Hillsdale beating Norwayne, but I could see them beating Dalton.
 
I’m gonna go
1.Norwayne - they are currently returning quite a bit. They have Moyer back at running back. They have some nice younger, running backs as well. They have Dylan Smith returning also and he possibly could be playing QB .and the JV was solid last year.
2.Dalton
3. Rittman !
4.Hillsdale
5.Smithville
6. Waynedale
7.Chippewa
8.Northwestern
 
On a positive note, at a recent meeting of players for the 24 season at Chippewa, 36 kids showed up.
Just a technicality, the Chipps were 1-9, Richmond Heights had to forfeit their first few games.

Good thing is is I think most of those kids were underclassmen so hopefully they gave them a year under their belt.

Yes Tomlinson will be back. I would expect a big year from him too.

I heard Smith to Qb. Smith will be dynamic with the ball in his hands. I thought Bruner looked good last year on jv. If they go with Bruner I could see Moyer having a big year. Good problem to have for Norwayne.

Very very true ! It’s so hard to take smith away from receiver tho .. lol but it’s a good problem to have like you said .

That was a hell of a game ! Two very strong offenses .. awesome pickup for norwayne especially since the playoffs are expanded now a days

Update…….Chippewa will travel to D-6 Wickliffe week one to replace Richmond Heights. Wickliffe was 4-6 last year.
