Versailles vs Marion Local

At the minimum. I am thinking in the $11k-$13k range.
Nice, here is Van Wert's 50/50 from last week.

To my knowledge, Versailles has never been part of a big 50/50. Anybody remember the 50/50 2021at ML between these two teams.

don't both towns in the Coldwater - ML game sell tickets at BOTH towns ( manufacturing, stores, bars etc) prior to the game, no matter where the game is at..... those HUGE POTS are not just SOLD at the gate a hour before the game?

Update on my predictions:

Gehret plays: 16-14 V (Tigers go +1 on turnovers and have a big special teams play)

Gehret does not play: 21-7 ML

50/50: $7400

Here's a video of it, an awesome way to start a game.
Man, I know they’ve updated Hole Field a lot since then. But boy do I love fields without a track around them. Fans are closer to the field and atmosphere seems so much better.

also, seems like games are never ever ever packed like that one showed. Wonder how much NFHS is taking away from that or whatever reason there is.

I remember 2005 Versailles Coldwater being the Dayton Daily News game of the week. That was a huge 50/50 pot with a fella from Russia walking out with it.
I was living in Greenville at the time and I remember the Versailles/St. Henry game that season having a 50/50 jackpot around $14,000. I questioned it because where I was from and where I am at now a big pot is $800+ range.

I believe it was over $5,400 payout
That destroyed any previous MAC 50/50
Great game atmosphere...college like.
#1 in D4 vs #1 in D5
Both undefeated
Ross Homan almost breaking the endzone fence. 😉
And if l remember right, it was the "Game of the Week" by ONN.

Thoughts on that season.
Versailles, IMO, overlooked LCC in the playoffs. That very easily could have been the first MAC 3 way title year.

Even if Gehret plays I would expect he would be less than 100%, hard to play rb with a bum shoulder (does he play linebacker as well). Which would make Versailles more one dimensional. With out a healthy Gehret I do like the Flyers chances (better) as long as they don't turn the football over and are strong in the punting game.

He hasn't played LB at all this year helping to protect / save his shoulder.

Cal prep 26 to 22 ML

Less than a TD meaning one big play taken to the house could be the difference. What #2 is going to have a better game? AJ or Victor. Both can make plays when the ball is in the air.

I'm sort of surprised at all the folks who are predicting/dreading/thinking a Versailles victory. Yes, they are strong, but so is ML. They have some amazing playmakers, but so does ML. I tend to think in a linear fashion, gathering what I see to be evidence from other games. Lots of doubts/fears about the Wapak game--no problem. Same about New Bremen--no problem. Chatter surrounding the Minster game was chilling--and, no problem. Yep, I know V is likely stronger than those-- but unless they are 200% stronger, ML handles them. No problem. I just feel the Flyers will have a slugfest with V, as usual, but they will not be beat. Quoting another poster here: "Even if it looks bad for ML, never, ever bet against them." The reason? They have magic, folks. Magic. (And yall know what that is...)

Thumbs up. Magic. Got it.
