USA TODAY Sports' weekly 1-130 Re-Rank of the Bowl Subdivision picks up right where it left off in January, with No. 1 Clemson and No. 2 Alabama leading the charge ahead of teams from each of the Power Five conferences.
Following the Tigers and Crimson Tide in the preseason rankings are No. 3 Georgia, No. 4 Michigan and No. 5 Oklahoma. The Wolverines are the early pick to get past No. 7 Ohio State, win the Big Ten and reach the College Football Playoff.
The SEC has six teams in the Top 25: Alabama, Georgia, No. 6 LSU, No. 12 Texas A&M, No. 15 Florida and No. 21 Auburn. That number is equaled by the Big Ten, which after the Wolverines and Buckeyes features No. 17 Michigan State, No. 20 Iowa, No. 22 Nebraska and No. 25 Penn State.
