The 2 mile looks like a very fast race this Saturday. Hiluf the #1 seed followed by Baker and Thomson. Other Ohio runners Parnogoni, Steible, Vogele and Holmer..

Considering Vogele ran 9:34 pretty much solo on OSU's smaller 200m track a couple weeks ago, it would not surprise me if he goes under 9:20 this weekend.

Danielle Pfeifer(McAuley) wins by 6.5s, that's very impressive with this meet. Maybe the 2:05 isn't out of reach.

Anything is possible but if you recall she ran a 2:08 last year at this meet. She did have Cordell chasing her last year though, which helps. If she doesn't face faster competition she will have a hard time getting that 2:05.

She needs to train and run with some boys. Mason and West are close enough to enable this to happen. SHE has to train with people faster than her.

If she accepts the invite to the Brooks meet next week(at this point she's not on the entry list) she'll certainly get a chance to see exactly where she's at.

The personal bests of those who've confirmed for the 800 -

Savannah Camacho 2:07.65, Hannah Meier 2:08.83, Taylor Hatfield(Ohio D2 record-holder)2:08.91 , Kaela Edwards 2:09.05, Reagan Anderson 2:10.26, Cami Chapus 2:12.00, Anna Boyert 2:13.01, Jenna Westaway(Canada)2:12.77.

The meet is run on the University of Washington's 307m oval, and it has a history of being an extremely fast track.

Mason and West are not really all that close to Danielle's school... both are probably a good 25 minute drive. She'd be better off heading 2-3 miles up the road to run with the Lasalle boys.

You're right. For some reason I thought it was located in Sharonville/West Chester area.
