This may have been covered in the past but if the University of Cincinnati were to join the Big 12 do you think they would start up the wrestling program again. I believe they have a club now but would it become a full fledge team at that point? If so that would be great for Ohio Wrestling.

Doubtful, most the teams in the big 12 don't have wrestling.

Was going to say the same thing....

Out of the current 10 schools in that conference, I believe just 4 have wrestling with WVU, OU, OSU & ISU.

They should reinstate the program. They could bring in the talent from the area high schools and be a strong program.

I'd say Cleveland State is probably one of the next schools to cut wrestling, I doubt Cincinnati will try to make a comeback.

Let's hope not. The potential is there. They've been good before.
