The Bobcats (14-6, 5-3 Sunbelt led by 17 only to see App State (14-10, 8-3 Conf) come back to tie things before escaping with the two-point win. The Bobcats hit 80% from the free-throw line compared to 69.6% for App. State. Both teams were over 80% in the first half. Caleb Asberry (Pflugerville, TX) led the winners with 16 points and 5 boards. Shelby Adams (Converse, TX) aided in the win with 11 points and 6 boards. For App State, Adrian Delph (Gastonia, NC) had a game-high 22 points and 5 boards.
