Taylor Swift - Folklore

Taylor Swift drops a new album without her normal hype, Folklore. This time she decided to go in a Brooklynish Indy Rock direction with Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and Aaron Dessner of The National being involved instead of her recent pop collaborations. To me it sounds like she gave Ryan Adam's cover album of 1989 a spin and decided to make her own version with new tunes. While not a huge fan, (her pandering to liberal causes so she appears "woke" comes over as opportunistic) I respect her connection to her fan base and hope that all these girls have grown up and can appreciate the sophisticated direction that her music is now heading in.
