Why on earth did they run two races for D2 boys at VOA? How unfair is it that 3 teams and individuals in top 12 advance from a field of 5 teams and 50 total runners with the same number of qualifiers from the other section with 10 teams and 72 total runners?

Both boys and girls should have been one race. Even with covid restrictions, they are under 150 runners. What an unfair way to select teams and individuals.

Same situation at some other places. What are the people in charge thinking, and how are they the people in charge?

Calm down. There were a lot of runners and teams that did not show up for the meet. There were 11 teams assigned to both races.

Why were the races split into two races in the first place? Did they have to stay below 100 runners per local health board.
