Suburban league 2022

Aurora scrimmages Mayfield tomorrow. Who does the rest of the American scrimmage this week?
 
Aurora 21 Mayfield 21 2 qtrs. Physical scrimmage. I know Mayfield struggled last year but they played tough tonight.

8/26 Firestone at Copley. Taking Copley in a close game. Both teams not good or well coached.
8/26 Normandy at Cuyahoga Falls. Normandy cages the Tigers.
8/26 North Royalton at Highland. Highland wins.
8/26 Riverside at Aurora. Aurora is there every year. They win.

Tallmadge could score 80 this week if they wanted to. I really think Ellet might be worse than North or Springfield this year. Not having their coach hurt them bad, the Orangemen just did not look prepared to play football last week.

If Kent beats CVCA, which won't be easy, a path to 5-6 wins and playoffs is there for them.

Hopefully Revere and Copley do better this week, their scores last week were really stunning.

This game should have been canceled after last season and both teams could have found suitable opponents...(STVM Irish sitting idle). Not good for anyone involved, Ellet or Tallmadge.

I think Tallmadge is going to be really good this year but their first 2 non conference games do not test them at all

Can't fault them for scheduling Brecksville, fellow Suburban and thought it would be an upgrade over Ravenna and probably was. Also upgraded with Green over Coventry in Week 3. Ellet, I don't get though...
 
Unfortunately many years ago, Tallmadge, Akers Ellet and Springfield were great rivalries. Those yeas are long past..
 
Tallmadge playing Ellet is a longtime rivalry. It was much more competitive in the past and should be competitive again. It's these years when one is way up and one is way down that it is frustrating to watch.

I didn’t fault Tallmadge. I just stated a fact, they are playing 2 teams to start their non conference schedule that are incapable of challenging them
