Slowing it down, looks like he barely didn't get the shot off but in real-time, can't blame the refs. Not even sure if replay would have overturned this.

Interestingly, this would have been a travel in the NBA but is legal in HS.
 
 
The still shot you posted now makes sense.

Probably shouldn't be able to catch your own air ball at the HS level, IMO, but it's legal (and his foot never came down while the ball was in his hand between the first shot and put back). Awfully hard to tell whether he got the put back off in time. But such a bang-bang call, hard to go argue against the call on the floor.

Agreed. If this was the NFL and their replay system, they would have likely said "play stands as called". Way too close to overturn a call either way.

Great game to watch. Both crowds were loud and into the game. It is what makes HS basketball so much fun to watch.

Falls is the best one-win team in the area save for the Irish. Not a bad team at all. And Stow is inconsistent... struggles in half court because they have one player over 6'1 in the lineup, and he is a 6'6" wing, albeit a VERY good one.
