D1 Pickerington Central 12-2
D1 Canal Winchester 17-0
D1 Mt. Vernon 12-2
They have two really good pitchers in Poston and Mowery.
They have also hit at least 36 HR's going into todays huge DH with D2 #5 John Glenn who is 10-0 and there only loss is to D1 #1 Watkins Memorial

This should be two good games today and should feel like two tournament games based on the talent.
By the way, do not trust all the scores on Maxpreps as some of the scores are not correct. They have lots of missing scores as well.

Triway sophomore P Carter Wachtel throws a 1-hit CG shutout w/ 11 Ks vs Watkins Memorial. Sophomore Hanna Massaro's 3rd inning solo HR was the only run of the game.

Lancaster is now 18-0 7-0 in OCC Buckeye and still ranked #3
Top three teams in the state were separated by 6 points this week.
Lancaster has wins this week over John Glenn 7-3 and 3-1, Newark 12-0, Central crossing 13-0, and Groveport 10-2
This week Lancaster has games (weather Permitting): host Reynoldsburg Monday, host Chillicothe Tuesday, @ Pick Central Wednesday, Host Newark Thursday and play Mason and Lebanon next Saturday @ Mason.

Here is crazy stat, in OCC Buckeye Division games Lancaster has outscored their conference rivals 78-5 in 7 games and 19 run allowed total in 18 games. This team hits and is scary to think they two solid pitchers who are only a Sophomore and Freshman. Hope for a potential another crack with Watkins Memorial looming in the post season. Hopefully in a Regional Final. Tournament Draw is Sunday
