Since 90% of this site seems to be Cinci, i'll start with the D1 Southwest and Central with NE/NW Ohio next......SW is always the EASIEST to predict anyway.

ENTIRE Mentor district is laughable. Bottom half of Niles district, especially Marryyoursisteretta and BOREDman is probably the worst/most overrated in the entire Midwest. Marryyoursisteretta being in the top 15 poll is pure insanity and hilarious.

Have you seen all of these teams play? Ive seen Strongsville, Mason, Anthony Wayne, Olentangy Liberty, Magnificat, Walsh and a couple of others. So Ive seen a handful, but the rest I have to rely on Maxpreps.
 
Everyone but Mags and Liberty but have HS coaching friends who HAVE either coached against them or saw them and are outstanding evaluators. Those picks are PERFECT. PERFECT PICKS. PERFECT. A BUNCH OF PERECT PICKS. BEAUTIFUL PICKS.

Im a newbie for picking OHSAA soccer. Of all the teams I have seen in my completely non expert opinion, the best team in Ohio I have seen is Whitehouse Anthony Wayne. They didnt have any superstars, but every single player and sub is rock solid and they are fast. Their program is loaded with over 60 girls on the 3 teams they have. I heard they had 90 go out. They will be a force in northwest Ohio soccer for awhile.

Maxpreps has them as the highest ranked team in Ohio.

AW is really good, full of talent, and really legit contenders. Really impressive. Did you notice how off max preps rankings were? Liberty Benton, Monroe, canfield, Eastwood in the top ten. LW ranked 18th? Beavercreek at 27? There is a page on maxpreps that states records and scores are dependent on the coach making the updates. No update creates false data.
 
Its hard for sites like Maxpreps to rank teams from multiple states and multiple divisions within each state. I think they do a pretty good job giving, at least, a basic idea of where the teams stand. And I definitely get it if there is no data in there, then the site wont rank them. For my daughter's team, I've been updating the scores the whole year and found a few mistakes where Maxpreps had using playing the same team within 2 days and another where we tied a team we didnt even play (the team had played another with a similar name). So, as with any data for reporting, its garbage in, garbage out. Overall, though, its a decent enough resource to use. I wish there was a joeeitel.com for girls soccer like there is for football.

AW beat PBurg on Thursday. I think AW qill win it all. Their program is loaded with a great undefeated varsity team with 20+ girls and 2 JV teams each with 20+ girls. Plus I had heard they cut 20-30 girls. For NW Ohio, AW will be dominate for many years to come.

Thank you for pointing out the typo. I'm guessing my typo is the very first typo ever on Yappi (not). I'm glad your typing skills are top notch. I think Anthony Wayne WILL win it all. Your trolling is getting old Jed.

As for Anthony Wayne, I think they will be or stay the #1 program in this area of the state for quite awhile. Their district is growing. Their football program is also undefeated. They are getting people moving into the district. The school is good and it has enticed people that may have sent their kids to private schools to keep them in the public school system. As for soccer, Anthony Wayne United has a strong program and competes very well in the NWOYSL.

As a district they are similar the Olentangy schools north of Columbus. Perrysburg is somewhat similar in the Toledo area. Sylvania (Northview and Southview) had been that but hasn't been growing as much recently. AW sports will be a force for quite a while.

I don't get why people insist on trolling. We are all here to talk about high school sports and that guy insists on being insulting to anyone on this forum. This forum only has maybe 10 people that post. People like him make other potential posters not want to post. He will drive people from Yappi. I put him on ignore from now on.
