Brian's kiss of death
Nope.Brian's kiss of death
I think they long ago moved to capping it at one free day per season (ie hockey + basketball = one free day).At one time the Ignatius administration would give the students a day off if an Ignatius team won a state title. Wonder if this policy is still in effect. If so, the students might get a whole week off if this class continues its winning ways in the other spring sports.
It was great in 90s whenI was there, but I think would get more now. Luckily they have today off from hockey, another day comingAt one time the Ignatius administration would give the students a day off if an Ignatius team won a state title. Without a doubt. Back in my time, we didn't have the consistent high level success in basketball, hockey and soccer. Eds controlled the hockey world back then. It had been almost a 180 flip between the schools on different programs, but, adding soccer success on top of it. Now just need to get the football program back to consistency, not asking for that level of titles which was historicI think they long ago moved to capping it at one free day per season (ie hockey + basketball = one free day).
For as much as we on here mourn the state of the football program, I think the overall athletic offering has never been stronger than it has the last decade.
Crazy that the football program is at the bottom now.Without a doubt. Back in my time, we didn't have the consistent high level success in basketball, hockey and soccer. There not catching our eagles any time soon in overall titles !Congrats on the hoops title. The Cats and Eagles have now taken 5 of the 9 OHSAA boys teams titles available in the Fall and Winter seasons. Baseball, Lacrosse, Track and Volleyball still on the table for the calendar year. I don't think Ed's will be in the mix much this Spring, but Ignatius has a legit shot at a few of those.
Thanks to the spandex boys. There not catching our eagles any time soon in overall titles !
Congrats wildcats on bringing it home to NEO!!
Is that a celebrity appearance from Chris Farley dressed up as one of the Gap girls?
Wow…wow…wow
OMG! You are right on with that one. Lay off Chris, he’s starving! Reference to an old SNL skit so that know one is offended!!Is that a celebrity appearance from Chris Farley dressed up as one of the Gap girls?
Well, that's awkward
Ha no wonder Woidke had something to say to these folks
Cause those soccer and couple titles in cross country and golf are real tough guys. Sorry your school had a 60 year head start and still can’t match the success of the school with the most titles in Ohio! >Thanks to the spandex boys.
Come back when your school has won a title in every one of the sports, as Ignatius has done. Then we can talk.Cause those soccer and couple titles in cross country and golf are real tough guys. No swimming/diving, bowling, or lacrosse yet for Ignatius.Come back when your school has won a title in every one of the sports, as Ignatius has done. Then we can talk.
And Cam's brother Dru III seems to be in line to take over from Coach Dambrot at Duquesne. And Cam is just starting to build his legacy at St. Ignatius. Congrats to the young man and to his team.Wow…wow…wow
Looking forward to Cerck12’s comments. Using his terms….scumbag coach or scumbag fans??
8th coaching state championship for the Joyce family. Was so great to see Dru at the game last night. One proud papa.
