Hightower is 170. Keep him there. He's a state placer.Carter Neves is looking to make the big transfer play to St.Eds. He should make alot of noise in the lineup at 170 next year.

So 75% of the public schools have an open enroll policy but you still can’t get past the superior coaching so you slander a great program? SMH
I think you are confused with what open enrollment is...All public schools have open enrollment. It's whether they make you pay to open enroll there or the Superintendent waives the fee. I've heard that Graham is going to stop waiving the fee as they cannot pass levies.

Okay - just going by what I have been told by people that are intimately familiar with the process. I guess neither he, nor I should have used the term open enrollment. I know that by Joe Daugherty's link that our school district does not have "open enrollment" as defined by the Ohio Dept of Education, but I do know that a student can enroll in our school district for around $16K per year.
I made a correct statement. 75% of the public schools are open enroll. There are different levels of open enroll as well. I believe they are state wide, adjacent districts etc. my point in original statement was there are a Lot of public schools that use open enroll to get athletes to come to their schools. So the argument that private schools have advantage of a public school is not really a valid argument anymore. Especially when you open enroll in a school district “typically “ maybe not in your case, the parent wouldn’t have to pay tuition. The state does. At private schools it can cost a lot . Ed’s is up to 17k a year or more ? US has to be well over 20k ?Okay - just going by what I have been told by people that are intimately familiar with the process. My apologies for the incorrect figures Coach! ?Actually, 70.7% of districts are open enrollment to be exact ?. Yet, only 3 districts in Cuyahoga County are open enrollment (Cleveland and Chagrin Falls are full open enrollment, and Cuyahoga Hts which only allows students from adjacent districts). Find it funny how Cuyahoga is not on board with it. Grew up in Cuyahoga county and never heard of open enrollment until I started teaching outside Cuyahoga county.
Surprisedthat Chag town is open?Actually, 70.7% of districts are open enrollment to be exact ?. Slander involves a false statement... which part of his statement was false? So 75% of the public schools have an open enroll policy but you still can’t get past the superior coaching so you slander a great program? SMH

What grade will Carter Neves be in next year ? What weight did he wrestle at this year ?
Redshirt Freshmen
All of it.Slander involves a false statement... which part of his statement was false?
Is the Scar kid the Sombo champ from Russia I herd about? My sources from deep inside the admissions department at St Edwards has confirmed the following line up for the 20-21 Eagle
106-Hans Gruber
113-Hannibal Lecter
120-Agent Smith
126-Scar
132-Bill "the Butcher' Cutting
138-Anton Chigurh
145-Norm Stansfield
152-Tommy Devito
160-Vincent Vega
170-Ra's al Ghul
182-E. Palpatine
195-Commodus
220-Biff Tannon
Hwy-Thanos
This team will be unstoppable, rules are going out the window when this crew arrives.
it would make sense for Neves to do 182. Ed's has nobody at that weight next year.Ok, Thanks..I can't see him bumping Hudson Hightower at 170. Maybe he can battle with others for the 182 spot. jmo
If Geog starts maturing he could go 170. His dad's big.Hightower is 170. Keep him there. He's a state placer.
sooo... Ed's doesn't recruit, and has no hold backs. Okay then...All of it.
Your statement/ comment above does not reflect what I originally responded to.sooo... Ed's doesn't recruit, and has no hold backs. Okay then...

No. Wrestlerguy 1 said “Not that hard to do when you recruit from all over the state and have kids that are a year older than everyone else in their grade.”not the point... Joe accused Wrestlerguy 1 of slandering Ed's program because he mentioned that Ed's recruits and has hold backs. "Slander" means a false statement. I simply asked Joe which part of Wrestlerguy 1's comment was false. Joe replied "all of it."
You’re right. Gruber. Heard that kid will eat nails and hammers! Don’t know how he will transition from Sombo to Folkstyle? Seems almost like he would be regressing?Scar is from the plains of Africa. You may be getting him confused with the Grubar kid at 106. Palpatine is from Greece. The line up an international flavor and it almost cost Bill Cutting who really wanted an all Native team.
