Was just about to post this. Who will the CBS add to take the SEC's place? PAC12 would be stupid not to pounce on this and get their games on at 3pm, but Larry Scott is such a moron it wouldn't surprise me if the PAC12 did nothing and let the AAC jump in.

Gary Danielson will be 72 when the contract ends in 2023, so hopefully he just retires.

Does CBS have a cable sports channel to handle the second and third tier games of a conference? They got the best game in the best conference but that is it, ESPN had the balance. Maybe it's better to just sit out call Saturdays than other pay, especially if core cutting goes deeper into households.

They have CBSSN which usually shows the #2 or #3 AAC games on Saturday nights, and since CBS and Viacom have now merged they could move games to some of the Viacom non-sports channels, eg Paramount Network (formerly SpikeTV). Fox used to do that fairly often with FX. The AAC and/or PAC12 really need to push hard to get more of their games on network TV though.

The NFL tv deal is up fairly soon also, and I've read Disney really wants to steal the AFC package from CBS and put the games on ABC. Would be hard to imagine CBS having no SEC or NFL programming
