I hated that guy... but will miss arguing with him. He was honest, passionate, and a big advocate for his team and against the competitive balance proposals. If he has any say in it, I know where his spirit will be resting in peace on Friday nights in the fall.

Very sad to hear this news.

Stars and I have known each other for many years since the Akron CYO days coaching against each other. We would always chat over the phone regarding Ohio State football and college football for almost an hour. After each OSU playoff win for the 2024-2025 season, we were on the phone discussing each playoff win. Furthermore, I would chat with him over the phone each time I found out he was hospitalized and see what I can do to offer my help with referrals ( I work in the healthcare field ). I also went to visit him one time in the hospital when I was in the area and taking a break at work. He was a great poster and did a great job with Summit County football.

He will be missed.
