What are our score predictions for the Regional Semi-final matchups this week?? They were some nail-bitters this weekend and we can only expect more. The key matchups are

D1
Moeller vs St.Xavier
Lakota East vs Elder
St.Charles vs Worthington Kilbourne
Westerville vs Olentangy Liberty
Medina vs Solon
Avon vs St.Ignatius

D2
Wyoming vs Monroe
Bexley vs Columbus Academy
Bay Village vs Lexington

D3
Seven Hills vs Grandview Heights
Botkins vs Mariemont
Ottawa Hills vs Kalida
Wellington vs Hiland

No predictions but a comment on the lunacy of putting the Logan winner in D-2 with the Southwest District for the Regional semi's. Tipp City will play Marrietta...a school on the Ohio River across from West Virginia. According to Google Maps they are 197 miles apart and 3 hours and 5 minutes in travel time. I assume they will play somewhere in or near Columbus.....on a school night at 7 PM. Strange?
 
I don’t know much about a lot of the teams so I’ll just comment on what I know

D1
Moeller vs St.Xavier - Moeller wins 2-0 for their third W over St. X this season.
Lakota East vs Elder - Lakota East wins 2-0 to make it a tremendous regional final with Moeller.


D2
Wyoming vs Monroe - Wyoming wins 1-0 in OT. Both teams are undefeated and have given up very few goals. Whoever wins has a true shot at state.


D3
Seven Hills vs Grandview Heights - Seven Hills wins 3-0.
Botkins vs Mariemont - Mariemont wins 2-1 to set up a great regional match up with 7 Hills.
Ottawa Hills vs Kalida - OH wins 4-0. They’re just in another class.
