2005 Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush will voluntarily forfeit his Heisman Trophy. This is the first time a Heisman winner will lose his award in the Heisman's history.

Because of this, do you feel as though Vince Young should now be deemed the winner and awarded the trophy? Joe Schad doesn't believe this will happen, but Young has come out and said previously that he would be happy to accept the trophy if Bush has to vacate it.

Definitely give it to V. Young. It would be stupid to just leave it vacant, especially since Vince Young had such a great season. If Bush had ran away with the trophy in '05 and no one else was even close to being as good as him, then I'd leave it vacant. But I remember it being a very close race

Vacate it. He was the best player that year, and he played. No matter what the NCAA/USC records and archives say, he was there and the best player that year.

Yeah, Young shouldn't get it. Memphis had a Final Four appearance vacated a few years ago, that doesn't mean whoever they beat in the Elite Eight should get that credit instead.
