Cincinnati Reds RBI 2022 RBI Team Ages 13-15

The Cincinnati Reds Urban Youth Academy is pleased to announce its tryouts for the 2022 Junior Baseball team ages 13-15. This team is for serious minded players committed to playing an intensive schedule inclusive of winter practices, player evaluations and development as well as participating in MLB/RBI and USA Baseball sanctioned showcases development sessions and tournaments.
The RUYA’s RBI team format has proven successful sending over 35 players on to play college baseball within the last 3 seasons and 1 MLB draft pick. The academy has provided scholarships, internships and various employment opportunities for many of the student athletes that matriculate through successful program completion. This year’s 2021 graduating class has been awarded over $90,000 in scholarships to attend college.
Players will have the opportunity to interact with members of the Reds scouting department to further their baseball development and enhance character building skills. Members of this team will get assistance with college recruiting and academic advisory. This team is consistent with and will implement the goals and objectives of MLB’s RBI Program and the Reds Urban Youth Academy.
