A favorite book of mine looks to FINALLY be about to be produced by FX. "The Sparrow" by Clevelander Mary Doria Russell. Controversial, there was supposedly a lot of opposition to it being made.
 
Lost & Found in Cleveland.

When someone goes to the trouble of putting "Cleveland" in the title, it's almost sure the writer is from. Lead character named "Sokolowski" kind of sealed the deal. Yep, from Cleveland. Should be a fun movie for locals.

Some interesting names missing from this list. No Spiderman, Deadpool, Wolverine, Dr. Strange, Captain Marvel, Hawkeye, The Hulk, Guardians of the Galaxy? Looks more like an X-Men/Fantastic 4 collab than an Avengers movie.

Not too long after this post, they announced that there are more casting announcements to come.



I know Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange has already confirmed he’s in it, but he was not announced yesterday. Chris Evans is rumored to be back as Steve Rogers and Tom Holland as Spider-Man. I also can’t imagine you have all of those X-Men without also Hugh Jackman as wolverine. And at this point, I can’t imagine you have wolverine without Deadpool.


I won’t be shocked if the guardians of the Galaxy are not in it. Since it’s not really a cosmic situation. Although in Chris Pratt’s case it sounds like he has a scheduling issue at the moment, and if they can work that out, he will be in it since his character is now living on earth
