Rider (5-9, 1-3 MAAC) jumped out to a 12-0 lead and led pretty much the entire game only to find themselves down late but used some good defense to force overtime. In the overtime, the Bobcats controlled things early and finished things off by hitting key free throws. The win was the first one ever at
Alumni Gym (1-7). Leading the winner with 17 points apiece were Jacob Rigoni ( Adelaide, SA) and Matt Balanc (Silver Spring, MD). Kevin Marfo (Bergenfield, NJ) had 12 boards and 7 points. For Rider Mervin James (St. Thomas, Virgin Islands) and Allen Powell (Philadelphia, PA) also had 17 apiece.
