Potential playoff opponents

If Hoover makes it to the playoffs, which of the following likely opponents would we have the best shot at beating in the first round? I say Findlay. What does everyone else think?

- Massillon
- McKinley
- Findlay
- Toledo St John's Jesuit

Toledo St Johns is the most likely...

That is IF we beat Jackson.

The region should go as this:

McK/Mass winner
Tol SJ
Findlay
McK/Mass loser
Hudson
Elyria
Hoover
Sylvania Northview

I have ran alot of different projections and there is a possibility that if Hoover beats Jackson they could finish as high as a 5 seed and play Mass/McK in round 1. Beating Jackson would likely set us in the 7 spot, although with calcualtions I have one that has the 5 through 7 seeds only .10 Harbin points apart. If Hoover could get a win from Lake over Perry that could bump them to 6th or even 5th.

Toledo SJ and Findlay have big games in week 10. Findlay vs Napeolon who they should beat and SJ's vs Central Catholic which is much trickier. SJ's will get points every time Findlay wins though and that will be key in their battle for the 2 slot.

Playoff probablities:

60% Toledo St John's
30% Findlay
6% Massillon
4% McKinley
>1% someone else

There is about a 90% shot that Massillon/McKinley will meet up in week 12 again, its almost impossible for that not to happen.

Also of the 4 teams I believe Toledo St John's is the easiest to beat. Findlay has a questionable defense but can pile on the points.

I think that Hoover is best set to get the 7 seed and would likely face Findlay as if they win they have the 2 seed locked up. If Hudson loses we could be 6th, or even 5th (if we get enough help & one of Elyria's beaten opponents gets upset).

Findlay is our best bet. TSJ is still probable, but I could see a Massillon/Hoover matchup, if the Tigers lose.
