Patriot owner Robert Kraft Charles with solicitation

Just like the Patriot way, he was trying to find a bargain with an undervalued asset.

He could’ve thrown down a couple K on a high end “escort”, but he just wanted to get his rocks off in the fastest, most efficient way possible.

I know it was a joke. It was hilarious.
It wasn’t great, but somewhat humorous. It is odd that a Billionaire would pay for cheap HJ at some Rub and Tug place in a strip mall. It’s reflective of the Patriots penny pinching identity,

They’re bargain hunters. Other than Gronk, their other 2 Superstars are 7th round picks.
That’s just great drafting of athletes in late rounds, not penny pinching. I think of Mike Brown in penny pinching, skimping on facilities, jock straps, free agents, etc.

Then let’s just say, they’re thrifty.

NO WAY.

Unless he knew about the trafficking and all the steamy details then there is no reason for them to force him to sell the team. Likely a place he was told about, attended when he was in town.

Imagine many a professional athlete, and likely owners, who seek out a little bit of action while on the road. Illegal? Yeah. Unethical? Yeah. Embarrassing? Yeah.

Lose your livelihood over? No way.

Discipline him. He will be embarrassed which will be his biggest punishment.
Agreed.

Seems like it was just the other day - folks were pondering Lawrence Taylor's chances of being denied HOF toward the end of his career, in light of all of the drug arrests he had as a player, and if that should keep him out.

I believe the prevailing opinion at the time was that the HOF was about accomplishments on the field, not character flaws off the field.

I'd think the same would be apply for Kraft here, but maybe others view owners and front office folk differently. Or maybe the "sex slave" angle will be piggybacked off of #MeToo, and league officials will be wanting him as a sacrificial lamb for that issue.

Maybe one day, players who abuse illegal drugs (if still illegal) will be blocked from HOF consideration when the drug dealers state their case that they themselves are bought and sold like chattel by the cartels, and partakers will taken down by a new group of advocates and public outrage. Maybe? Too far-fetched?

In terms of prostitution......What kind of country do we live in where a woman can CHOOSE to kill a baby, but cannot CHOOSE to have sex for money?

I'm already tired of hearing about this. Unfortunately, ALL of the sports talk shows hit this over the weekend and into today. I was listening to Amy Lawrence, a sports talk show host for CBS Sports Radio, she does the 2-6AM shift Monday-Friday...and she's been in the bis for awhile. She's 45 years old. She was incredulous on this morning's show. It's like she couldn't believe someone would do this? I was surprised by her reaction.
Tiger Woods, Bill Cosby...honestly, these days nothing shocks me of what people do. It will be very interesting to see how this rolls out.
