How do you think the 18 Open will play out for the upcoming OVR Boys Holiday Tournament on 12/16-12/16 at the Columbus Convention Center?

Attack 18 Black
Louisville Fury 18 Smack
Vanguard 18-1 Gold
18 Green A2
Air City 18 Black
CVA 18 Purple
BVP 18
Indy Assault 18's
A-10 17 Black
Exile 18 Red
Steel City 18 Black
PVC 18's
Vanguard 17 Gold
Air City 18 Green
18 Shamrock A2
Attack 17 Black
 
 
The top teams will most likely be Attack, Vanguard, Fury, PVC, Steel City, and maybe CVA. The early season tournaments like this are pretty hard to gauge, but I'll take PVC as the winners with Vanguard as runners up
 
I think Vanguard 18-1 won it last year. Although my memory stinks (can’t hardly remember last week. Lol)

A -- Lou.Fury, Indy Assault, Attack 17s, Vanguard 17s
B -- Attack, AirCity Black, Exile Red, A-10 17s
C -- PVC, A2 Green, BVP, AirCity Green
D -- Vanguard, Steel City, CVA Purple, A2 Shamrock
 
I believe VG beat PVC in huge semi final game. 3rd set was something like 31-29. A battle for sure. Can’t remember who was in finals. May have been Louisville

Here are mine

A -- 1 Lou.Fury, 2 Vanguard 17 3 Indy Assault, 4 Attack 17s
B -- 1 Attack, 2 AirCity Black, 3 Exile Red, 4 A-10 17s
C -- 1 PVC,2 BVP, 3 A2 Green, 4 AirCity Green
D -- 1 Vanguard, 2 CVA Purple, 3 Steel City,4 A2 Shamrock

For the finals I will say Fury vs Vanguard 18-1 with Vanguard winning

Sounds like a fun tournament. Very interesting that Attack is at the top of the pack even after losing some good players to CVA. I wonder how good they'd be if they still had some of those players from previous years. Maybe they don't even need them!
 
Attack also played CVA head to head and won 25-18 25-13. Judging by scores and matches Attack, Fury, and Vanguard were all very even and a head above all other teams in attendance

I had no doubt Attack would be better than CVA still, but I thought some of the defections, if you will, would have weakened the team to the point of Vanguard and Fury being better. But also, it was 1 tournament, so we will see from here.

From anyone who was there, who were the standout players from Ohio?
 
Got to watch a bit this weekend.

Attack - Hargett, Mauch, Kastner
Vanguard 18- Platfoot (Rough match by his standards against Attack), Sharfenaker, Ternent
CVA - Niven, Hubbard
Vanguard 17 - Little
