Who's kicking off the 2025 Season? Last year, Walsh Jesuit took on Ursuline on the first Thursday of the season, who else will be kicking off this year? Moving your game to that Thursday is a cool idea, and it will definitely get my eyes on the game! Post 'em!

Coach Reardon loves the Thursday games and the exposure it gives. We are at Steubenville this year so I'm not sure if it will be played on Thursday or not.
 
The Thursday week 1 game is pretty prevalent across the state as it's before school starts, so you're not having issues with school the next day.

I guess I am too old fashion. I prefer high schools play on Fridays only unless the day after Thanksgiving or a playoff game. College always Saturday except day after Thanksgiving or on Thanksgiving night and NFL Sunday and Monday. No games Tuesday or Wednesday either.

I generally agree, but in week 1 I like a few games on the days before Friday since school is not in session, the weather is warm, and it is a good time to get out and see a few teams.
