Ohio's Oldest League the NWOAL

Evergreen's senior's size and experience will give everyone problems. Archbold is talented and solid as always but a little inexperienced, Wauseon is similar to Archbold with not a lot of seniors but talented and a little more depth. Bryan is big across the board as usual with a couple good seniors. Not sure about Swanton, I know they lost a few key players. Liberty Center returns maybe the most talented individual player in the league in Burdue with a good core around him. Patrick Henry could be a little improved. Delta will have a tough season.

Archbold
Evergreen
Wauseon
Bryan
Liberty Center
Patrick Henry
Swanton
Delta

I see Wauseon & Archbold made a few changes to their schedule. With Archbold adding a home game with Delaware Hayes & Wauseon is scheduled to play 6 NLL teams.

But if had to add a sleeper team this year ... i’m gonna go with Bryan. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the title hunt during the season.

Liberty is the wild card in the race. Great football town and they know how to compete in pressure situations because of that football success. I still think they knock one of the "Usual" Big 3 off at some point this season.

Interesting...curious as to why the OHSAA claims the NWOAL is the oldest league.
You got my curiosity up so I did a little research. It was originally named the SENATE LEAGUE. In 1936 they reorganized to include all Cleveland schools, split into two divisions
and the name was changed to CLEVELAND SENATE LEAGUE. That may be the reasoning.

Just saw pics of the new gym. Curious who thought the grey court was a good idea. The place looks amazing....but the grey court just looks drab and gloomy. Natural wood would have made it so much brighter in there. Either way, it looks great.....just not fan of colored courts I guess

It is all relative. Now this was drab and gloomy.

5628

vs

5629

Would have liked the Bulldog instead of the "R" at center court.
