Go Buckeyes
Ohio State appears to be on the verge of having 247Sports No. 1 ranked recruiting class.

This means nothing. Purdue has never had a top recruiting class, yet they kicked tOSU's a** last year.

This will be short lived. There are still highly rated prospects that Clemson & Bama lead on that have not verbaled so they will be at the top when all is said and done. LSU, UGA, and tOSU are all competing to round out the top 5.

Upsets happen? Match-ups and bad days happen? I personally think a lot of it had to do with Tyler Trent. It's no unstatement to say there were those ready to lay in the road for the kid. If you're aware the complete story, ever heard the wisdom and maturity in that kid's speaking, easy to believe it was a very emotional work-up so it's fair to say the Purdue team emoted far above their recruiting stars on that day. And likewise, these being kids, maybe even the Bucks were affected.
