Ohio Football Stadiums

I'm a Texas High School Football Fan, I'm a Stadium guy. In 2004 I published a database of Texas Football Stadiums online (http://texasbob.com/stadium/ Later I started a website for all US Football Stadiums http://stadiumconnection.com

The US Stadium site had limited success. Ohio was pretty successful. Here are the Ohio Stadiums that I have: http://www.stadiumconnection.com/state_index.php?state_id=35

In Texas, where I have about 1150 stadium listed, I depend on Football fans to help me keep it up to date and accurate. I would like Ohio football fans to look my Ohio site over and using the update/correction link to send me updates, corrections or even stadium I do not have listed.

http://www.stadiumconnection.com/form/stadium_frm.php

The criteria to be listed in the database is it has to be a stadium used by the varsity team at the High School and college level for regular season games. I also list pro stadiums.

Also I have made improvements to the website during the off season. It now adapts to different size devices, from smart phones to desktops. And I can now publish larger photos of the stadiums. Photos can be sent to bob@texasbob.com. If you send me a photo be sure and identify which stadium it is and the town it is located in.

I don't know about "Y'all" but I'm ready for some football.

Got questions? Just ask.

If I can get a really good photo that would be good for the banner on the site I would change the banner. The current banner photo is of a very historic Texas high school stadium, The Tomato Bowl in Jacksonville.

Very cool site. Some of the info you have down for Troy Memorial Stadium is incorrect. It is real grass and not artificial, and they also do play soccer there.

There is a link at the top of each listing to submit corrections. You don't have to fill out the whole thing just the stadium name and town and the corrections.

Is the Martins Ferry next to the high school?

No it's on State Route 7 on the east side of the 4 lane highway.

It sit between SR Route 7 and the Ohio River.

40.098012, -80.717476 are the coordinates

On the corner of Lombard St and N 1st Street in Martins Ferry

Martins Ferry's stadium is similar to the Mason Punchers' stadium in Mason TX. Bridgeport, OH not far away has another old covered wooden stadium.

Miamisburg, ohio has a beautifull new stadium and new field. whats unique about this stadium is, the school saved a million dollers, when they were bought used from the Daytona Motor Speedway. 3500 individual seating on home side. Had to move the first home game back to old Harmon field because of some construction problems. When u save a million, a weeks delay is not bad. Thier first home game now will be week 4 against (Huber hieghts )Wayne. Should be a great game for a new stadium. I do believe Fox sports ohio is broadcasting the game live, so come check it out.

Please go to this form:

and tell me all that you know about this field

Don't care much for huge stadiums. Give me a small school, grass field, standing room on a hillside nestled in a village neighborhood. ...sounds like Mogadore stadium and a few others!!!

Me too, until 20,000 fans show up.

Oh, I see how this works. By putting in the stadium, the ad thingy knows what ads to put up. Clever.

I think there already is a fairly robust stadium site isn't there? Eh, always room for more.

Don't know who did this but it's crazy awesome. I like how they managed to include Sacred Heart into the background.

Pretty good look here at 2:45

Actually I manually add the Prep Sportswear links to match the teams. I think since 2008 I've never sold anything in Ohio off of those ads.

Where is this good Ohio Stadium site? I would like to see it.
