Ottawa Glandorf is hosting their first OG Winter Classic this weekend. Was supposed to be four games, but will now be three. Here is the schedule

1:30 Ottoville vs. Toledo Rogers
3:45 Shawnee (Lima) vs. Trotwood Madison
6:00 Ottawa Glandorf vs. Toledo St. Francis

app.wosn.tv will have a livestream of all three games. You can pay per game, but we are also working on a setup of pay once for all three. All three games will air on WOSN next Saturday and Sunday. They will not be live on TV.

Kudos to OG for putting this great event together

Should be an interesting one, Shawnee vs. Trotwood-Madison. Trotwood got a late start but word is they are rounding into shape. They may play the fastest most aggressive pace in the state. Shawnee has from what I have heard is possibly one of if not the best player in the state. Should be a good one.
 
Shawnee and Trotwood is must watch hoops! Watched Trotwood run Springfield out of the gym (on youtube). Indians are gonna have their hands full!

What happened to the OG vs Harvest Prep matchup?
 
Trotwood is on a 2-game losing streak. Hear they are having some early season chemistry issues. The problem is their early season is now, with the late start in January. If they get it together who knows how good they can be. If they don't the shortened season might be a little shorter. Similar to football. Got to have time to work out some kinks. They don't. Might get ugly for the Rams if Shawnee can handle the pressure early.
 
49-40 Shawnee at half. George Mangas with 35. Shawnee is the most unselfish team I've seen play in a long time..
 
Lima Shawnee leads Trotwood Madison 74-53 after the 3rd. Mangas with 47 points. Did not see Shawnee building this type of lead. Mangas is unbelievable.
 
Lima Shawnee defeats Trotwood Madison 96-76. George Mangas finishes with 57 points for Lima Shawnee. When Elwer comes back during tournament for this team they will be a very tough out for anybody.

I saw a tweet earlier that Elwer was back today.....but haven't seen the stats to know for sure

Wasnt even close. Shawnee handled the pressure with ease and scored transition baskets all night. Skilled players who play together are not going to wilt under a press.

Elwer did play, but he will need a couple weeks to get back to his high level of play. He defiantly helped Shawnee today.
 
Josh Thorban with 45 for Ottoville.
George Mangas with 57 for Shawnee *Both School Records*
Anthony McComb and Brennan Blevins with 30 each for Trotwood and OG.

What a day at Ottawa Glandorf. Was an honor for us to broadcast this event
