The highly anticipated Man of Steel sequel, which will costar Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman, now has an official title, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Principal photography for the film began today in Detroit, according to Variety, and will continue later in Africa and the South Pacific. It's slated to come out May 6th, 2016.
Plot details for the movie, which written by Chris Terrio from a screenplay by David S. Goyer, are still unknown. But the movie-industry trade mag points out that the Dawn of Justice subtitle suggests continuity into the yet-untitled Justice League movie that director Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen), who is helming this film, has signed on to lead. Last week, Snyder tweeted the first picture of Affleck in costume, featuring the star in full brood.
