They now do. School enrollment and players have increased quite a bit in recent years

It sounds like it. Consistent enrollment increases is a good thing to hear while we see places like Sandusky SMCC and Fremont SJCC heading for closure
Calm down, Smurf. St. Joes I agree they have fallen on hard times. SMCC has survived some rough times and came out ok on the other side.
He was HC at Springfield up to this past season.

I'm not too sure about that. SMCC is at 86, Cardinal Stritch is at 85 & SJCC is at 75. Compare that to 118 at Tiffin Calvert and 136 at Toledo Christian. That is a huge gap in revenue for those schools with about 15-20 less kids per grade than the other two I mentioned.

SMCC has some “decent” numbers in the lower grade levels. The key for them is not losing kids once they get to jr high and into the high school.
St. Paul has even less and they’ve made it just fine.

They have 133 per the OHSAA. Also they’re doing pretty well on the hardwood
I see St. Joe closing one day but with that being said I could see Calvert and SMCC get a few of those students.

Calvert is already getting a few SJCC students. They are in much better shape than either SJCC or SMCC.

Probably. It's a pretty novel concept overall though. Not sure I've seen it done that way anywhere else.

Good question. I don't have any more information than this.
It looks like a creative way to manage crossover games/divisions that seem to derail some conferences.
It’ll be interesting on how this school grows sports wise in the next 10 years.

If there's anything I've learned from conferences, it's that you can't put a number in the name.
Also, if they add anyone from south of Columbus, they are going to look ridiculous. Until then, I can't knock the NOC.

NOL was a long time, respected entity. Should have never gone away. Why does everything have to be creative when it simply works?
