New Albany Head Baseball job

Not sure if New Albany has anyone on staff who would be a viable candidate or who is interested. Sounds like parents/players wanted Starling out....

Couple names who could make sense:

Brock Bolden (Granville): Young coach with some early success.
Sean Ring (Westerville North): Would he leave North? Seems like he could really thrive at NA with their talent. Geographically Close
Alex Shapiro (Dublin Coffman): Top assistant at Coffman this spring. Brings plenty of HC experience from his time time down in Kentucky

Any other candidates from out East? Pickerington? Newark? Johnstown? Utica? Licking Heights/Valley??

Central Crossing job now open as SWCSD Board Minutes confirm that Scott Todd has taken an assistant principal/AD job at Grove City.

Outside the box idea, but could they get Tom Neubert from DeSales if he were interested?

Independent of “the parents,” this job strikes me as having a hard combination of a possibly frugal district (what are they willing to pay for a baseball coach) and the weirdness of triple round-robin scheduling with Grove City, Gahanna, Pick North and Westerville Central — with the potential of playing one of them even a fourth time!

I doubt Tom would leave.

Don't know if any teaching positions will be available, but that will definitely be a factor as far as their candidate pool is concerned...

New Albany is primed to win now, and into the future. With all the development and growth expected over the next 3-5 years on that side of town, this is definitely a Top-5 job in the Central District.
