Kharchla definitely going in a backwards trajectory....
I agree (with ironmanz35), was going to say the same thing. There were 30 wins in the first round by lower seeds and Carson was not one of those. Just win baby. So is Andonian in a backwards trajectory since he only beat Kellar 7-6? Kellar has wrestled good all year and I think Carson has wrestled pretty good other than the Hamiti match. Speaking of the Hamiti match, i think he did a great job not getting pinned and it took a lot out of him surviving that. Not sure you can take much from that match. They were drill partners every day for years and know exactly what the other wants to do. Lets see how he does moving forward. I think he has a shot to AA.
Thursday, March 16When does the next rd start? Tonight?
Thursday, March 16
Session 1 - 12:00 pm (Pigtails & Round of 32)
Session 2 - 7:00 pm (Round of 16 & Consolations)
Friday, March 17
Session 3 - 12:00 pm (Quarterfinals & Consolations)
Session 4 - 8:00 pm (Championship Semifinals & Round of 12)
Saturday, March 18
Session 5 - 11:00 am (Placing Matches)
Session 6 - 7:00 pm (Championship Finals)
Somewhere in the schedule they need to do two rounds of consolation matches. Either session 2 or session 3.
It is not just this match with Brady. It would be complete homerism to say that Kharchla is not worse this year than he was 2 years ago, and last year. Look at his match scores all year, where he is ranked this year, compared to last year, and his overall attitude while on the match. It is plain as day, and it is right in front of our faces if you are actually looking.I agree (with ironmanz35), was going to say the same thing. Agree to disagree, and that is okay. We don't see the same thing. Def do not agree with this ............"and his overall attitude while on the match"It is not just this match with Brady. Agreed. I thought he moved very well in the Brady match. Coupled with the removal of the huge brace he was wearing earlier in the season makes me think he's feeling better.I wouldn’t say he’s regressed, he’s been injured a lot of this season. I’ll be interested to see how he finishes this season, as far as placing.
Best decision you can make. ESPN+ coupled with the Trackwrestling dashboard up on the phone/iPad is the best wrestling watching experience one can have.I broke down and got ESPN +
are there different Matt’s to watch? Or do I have to watch matches I don’t care about?
I don't think he's regressed. With many top ranked wrestlers, especially top ranked recruits, they come in and look really dominant early before the rest of the competition starts to figure out their strengths and weaknesses. In Kharchla's case we all had hoped he could compete for a national title one day. Well now that he's been in the collegiate level for a few years I think it's evident he's not at that level. He's especially not strong enough on top and bottom. He had that one great win against Marinelli which probably altered your expectations. I was actually impressed today that he was able to beat Brady, someone who knows him so well, without getting a takedown. He won in his weakest position, a great accomplishment. I think you should try to match up your expectations with reality instead of taking the easy way out and assuming a wrestler has gotten worse. It is not just this match with Brady. And took him down! Woods wrestled through Big Tens without giving up an offensive point. And I am back!!! Couldn't remember my password and don't have access to the email I used. Forgot I had password saved on my laptop I rarely use now. Pulled it out to follow on track while I watch on tv.Wow Dom almost took out Woods!!! What a great match for Dom!!!!

I thought he had that one too, but I can see continuation of motion resulting in no takedown. But he took him down in the 2nd to go up 5-4. Woods is so hard to score on. DD has really impressed me lately.so stoked to see these guys performing so well! My wife is looking at me like Im a nut while im jumping up and down after allen’s win!
Glad to see you back on Yappi! I thought he had the TD as well! When he wrapped the left leg I thought he had control with Woods using his arm and legs to post. 3 points of contact?

I take it all back. He's most certainly regressed.I don't think he's regressed.
