-Cleveland owns the Nets pick are expected to receive the #8 pick (2.8% chance at #1 pick)

-The Sixers own the Lakers pick if it lands between #6-14 (97.1% chance) or at #1 (1.1% chance). The Celtics own the Lakers pick if it lands between #2-5 (2.9% chance).

-The Pistons keep their pick if it is a top four pick (2.5% chance), otherwise it goes to the LA Clippers who also have their own lottery pick (projected #13 pick).

Is there anything dumber than the draft lottery?

lol at the deletions.

If they must have it, a few things should change.

At least give the worst 3 or 4 records the same amount of ping pong balls, to reduce the temptation to tank. The race to the bottom is horrible.

More importantly, stop making playoff non-participation the lottery criteria. Do it strictly on record.

Just read the Kings have never had the number 1 pick. Almost seems impossible with how bad they have been for so long

With all the young talent in the NBA now, you can rebuild quickly. I can't recall a time when the NBA had more stars under age 25.
You wonder if there is going to be a bigger push on coaching, having talent is one thing, but getting this kids to buy in, play defense, share the ball is the key.
