Ok, Rules do not apply to Mr. Chip Otten. What does "time for the glue factory" mean? (euphemistic) To kill, usually a horse. synonyms ▲ Synonyms: put down, put to sleep. (of a person, humorous) To retire or remove from prominence, usually due to obsolescence, old age or injury. My question for you sir, Are you trying to imply you would like me to die?

Just wondering - how late can a kid go out for hs football?

Isn't everything before two-a-days "optional?"

So can a kid show up for the first time on the first two-a-day practice and be a legit member of the team?

Yes, but unless they are a freak athlete chances they play are slim to none at least at MSML as you're probably aware. All in or all out

Probably depends on the team. Kid definitely isn’t likely to play but if a coach tells them they can’t be on the team because they missed camp they could have issues because everything before august has to be “non-mandatory.” Regardless, the kid would have to go through the 5 day acclimation which the rest of the team could have already done during camp
 
Coldwaters window for a title is very tight, like this year in d6 and going south.

They have large classes coming up and could see themselves in D4 before we know it.

It is literally now or never again

The Berne Witness is great, but I would not rely on the standard to do what they do. BW only needs to cover 3 schools with their 2 broadcast teams. Daily Standard covers Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Marion Local, Parkway, New Bremen, Minster and New Knoxville (if we're including non-football).
I've been saying it for years, but schools need to broadcast their own games. These kids understand how to broadcast themselves better than we ever could with the tools they have and have grown up with. And there's more jobs in that field that these kids should explore. I know there's some OHSAA stuff where you're "not allowed to," but there's so many schools that do it anyway on their YouTube channels, it's crazy.
 
DSJ fans riddle me this: watching the 1991 DSJ at SH hoops game on TV44...
DSJ has the traditional dark away uni....but white shorts?

Was that normal back when we were bangin'?

that is different, i think someone forgot to bring the short to St Henry

Figured it was something odd like that. I tuned in near halftime. Little dèja vu with an Elweŕ lighting it up.

I'm the darkest days of our programs history, we once played a game in our practice jerseys because the unis wernt in.


During the first half when we were getting our butt's kicked the coach had the gall.to.say...'our jerseys may be here at half..so.well play much much better.....'.

Yeah....it was that bad.

NFHS paid schools based on viewership. If I’m not mistaken, all MAC schools are going to HUDL this year.

I think Coldwater takes Valley View. The road game against Massie is probably a toss up. Coldwater was pretty tough last year and should be better in 2024. The Coldwater-Minster game on 9/20 will decide the MAC champs. I give the Cavs a puncher's chance in that game.

I'm interested in week 2 and 10. Those two games will tell us if they can compete or will.just be bullied again against the first power team they see in the playoffs
