I was brought up that way as well. Unfortunately, I have found out through life experiences, often cheaters prosper quite well.

good friend lives in Travese City...no high school baseball, only summer ball as they have snow well into May up there

Some snow sure football can be played in but Maquette as received up to 300 inches in one season. That along with average high temps in March of 35 (negative wind chill in March is not uncommon) might make it a little hard to get ready for a season.
