Final Comments:
The Vikings are coming off a good off-season campaign, seeing significant strength gains in the weight room. The team should be MUCH stronger on the offensive and defensive lines, as all of the players in line to play at those positions are much stronger than we have been in the past. Offensively, we will rely heavily on the playmaking ability of Smith, Derr and Henry, and the offense will focus on the arm and running ability of returning QB, Preston Barr. Defensively, Baylor Stickel will anchor the defense from his safety position. We have a wealth of experience returning on that side of the ball. The biggest change will be a new coaching staff. With only Doug Barry (Ohio Northern) and Marcus Omosule (Georgetown College) returning as assistants from 2022. Myers (Kentucky), Grigsby (Kansas State) and Muncy (Ohio, Titans, Bengals) along with former Viking head coach Tim Lewis bring a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the Viking staff.

What happened to Lances dad Mike? I never thought that guy would retire. When interviewed he said he couldn’t retire because he hates golf and isn’t very good at fishing.

I'm expecting huge improvements from Miamisburg but still one year away of being a darkhorse in the GWOC.
