True, but people thought the sky was falling when Fickell was in charge for that year, and that led to Urban Meyer.

So, I'm happy to suffer for a year through a caretaker kind of situation to get the right coach if he isn't available now. Of course, that would be beg the question of why do that, rather than have Thad just coach one more "goodbye year?"

Actually, I would say Butler > Creighton. At least Butler has been to two national championship games recently. Creighton has come nowhere close to that.
