As thrilling as this one was, it all came down to one of two things depending how you want to look at it. One, poor quarterback play at critical times by Tampa's Taylor Cornelius (Oklahoma State) 22-34, 300 yards, 2 TD'S with 2 picks or good defense at crucial times by the Wildcats (2-3) defense. Either way Tampa Bay (1-4) drops another close game. Cornelius, rushed for a touchdown on 7 carries for a total of 45 yards. Also with a rushing touchdown was, Jacques Patrick (Florida State). Overall he carried just 7 times for 23 yards. Jalen Tolliver (Arkansas-Monticello) had 4 catches, 95 yards and a touchdwon, while Reece Horn (Indianapolis) had a touchdown on 9 catches for 90 yards. Andrew Franks (Rensselaer Polytechnic) had field goals of 25 and 26 yards. Robert Priester (Wyoming) had a pick. Marcelis Branch (Robert Morris) led the defense with 7 tackles.
For the Wildcats, Ahmad Dixon (Baylor) had 10 tackles, Harlan Miller (Southeast Louisiana) had 9. Cedric Reed (Texas) had the only sack of the game.
Jack Tocho (North Carolina State) and Reggie Howard (Toledo) each had a pick. On the offensive side of things it was the Josh Johnson (San Diego) show
20-36, 288 yards, 4 TD'S 1 INT. DuJuan Harris (Troy) had a rushing touchdown. Overall he only had 7 yards on 9 carries. Saeed Blacknall (Penn State), Tre McBride (William & Mary), Brandon Barnes (Alabama State) and DeQuan Hampton (Southern Cal) each had a touchdown catch.

Best game of the season maybe. But TB shot themselves in the foot with QB play. The pick at the end was inexcusable.
