"The Democrats are in trouble, and they know it.

Word that two new contenders are poised to join the crowded race for the party’s presidential nomination — former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick — starkly reveals their growing sense of panic.

Less than three months before the primaries kick off in Iowa, Democrats are still searching for a candidate who clearly provides an electrifying and electable alternative to President Donald Trump. As Dan Balz writes in the Washington Post, the potential new entrants represent “a vote of no confidence” in the current field. The Associated Press adds that moves by Bloomberg and Patrick reflect “a powerful indictment” of party prospects.

The article does make a good point - Trump seems to have already defeated the current field. Maybe they draft AOC at the convention.

They know its over .........ergo, impeachment. But, impeachment will cost them the House, in an election that Trump will win.

Lose / lose ...............gotta love it.

So when the Republicans retake the House and add to their Senate majority, will they finally have the courage to really undo 80 years of socialist leanings and balance the budget and put Medicare and SS on a path to being self sustaining?

Unfortunately in a few words.. Dems inspire their base. Repubs conspire against their base.

Wow. I was just thinking about post-Trump 'Pubs. We badly need a third party under Trump's agenda.

I mean, I'm old enough and the future of my kids secure enough that I'll sell out 'Pub if the Left gain full control of the ol' blue mule, regardless of almost anything the 'Pubs may do. But America deserves far better, and the Orange Man, so far, is the only answer viable nationally.
